What type of leather do you use?
We use the best quality full grain cow leather and pig suede lining.
Where does your leather come from?
Our premium leathers come from multiple environmentally responsible tanneries around the world. We only select tanneries that have been audited and rated by the Leather Working Group ensuring they meet standards of quality, ethical work environment, and water treatment methods.
How does your leather wear?
The leather’s rich and transparent color finish has an ever-evolving life, changing tone with wear as part of its natural beauty. Our leathers age beautifully with time and take on their own personality with a rich patina and no color transferring.
Can you customize my order?
We can emboss most of our items with your initials or a short message no longer than 10 characters. The cost for custom embossing is $10 per item. Please email us at orders@madeinmayhem.com if interested. All monogrammed items are final sale.
Do you offer replacements for any hardware?
Yes, but only for certain items. Email us at orders@madeinmayhem.com with your purchase and product info (style, and color), and we can send you a replacement. Please note that replacement costs start at $10 and prices may vary.
Do you have any leather care tips?
Do not leave your accessories out in direct sunlight for extended hours as this may cause fading and drying. If the leather gets wet, let it air dry slowly and avoid direct sunlight or heat. Leather stretches out with tension but doesn’t return to original size; don’t overfill your accessories. Leather stretches faster when wet or in extreme heat.
What is the return policy?
If you received your order and find your item doesn’t meet your needs, please email us ASAP and we will send you instructions for returning your purchased product. All returns must be made within 15 days of delivery. The returned merchandise must be in new and unused condition, with the original tags and box. What does your warranty cover?
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for up to 6 months from original date of purchase. This warranty includes defects to zippers, hardware and stitching. This warranty does not cover damage caused by owner or purchaser fault, neglect, or regular "wear and tear".
